Correction

A June 24 story, "House committee demands information on Afghan detainees and Miranda warnings," attributed statements to Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., that were made by a different committee member. In addition, the story incorrectly reported the result of the committee's vote. That story has been replaced on our Web site with a corrected account of the House Judiciary Committee meeting, "Policy on Miranda warnings for Afghan detainees provokes debate in House committee."
