I have always liked writing, but became interested in journalism in high school after I started writing for my school newspaper and found out I really enjoyed it. With each story I write, I learn something new. I also like meeting new people and talking to them about what they do.

I studied abroad in Avignon, France, for three months and learned a lot about what it is like living in a completely different culture and speaking a different language most of the time. Living with a host family really gave me the experience of learning about a different way of life and being able to see everything from a different point of view.

I am a copy editor and reporter at The Post, the student run newspaper at OU, and I have written stories for a weekly paper, the Suburban News Publications, in Columbus, Ohio.
