Eboni Davis - Spring 1999

She is a print journalism major who will graduate from Hampton University in 2000. She's been a reporter and the health news editor for the student newspaper, the Hampton Script. She wrote stories, made assignments and laid out the health news pages. She's from Bedford Heights, Ohio, and in the summer she wrote for The Bedford Times Register, covering children's summer league swimming championships. She's also done broadcast news, as a reporter for WHOV Radio on the Hampton University campus. She's been a dormitory resident assistant, on the Dean's List, and a Project "Sunshine" tutor. She won a William R. Hearst Scholarship in 1997. She's a member of the National Association of Black Journalists' student chapter and works with the Hampton Roads Black Media Professionals Mentorship Program.
