Jennifer Wagner - Summer 1999

I am soon to be a junior at Indiana University in beautiful Bloomington, Ind. Over the past
two years I have dabbled in everything from drama to philosophy to biology, but I eventually
decided on a double major in French and journalism. As a journalist, my interests lie in the
arts and general issues such as higher education.

Outside of school I am a member of the Singing Hoosiers, an internationally acclaimed choral
ensemble. I work as the publications intern for the IU Honors Division and as an editorial
intern for the IU Alumni Association. Next year I will serve as a peer instructor for the
Freshman Interest Groups program, a new IU initiative that tries to orient freshmen to
college life through small group meetings and personal attention.

I occupy my unstructured free time ice dancing, rollerblading, reading and consuming mass
quantities of chocolate. I hope to attend law school or write professionally.
